After ten and a half years of supporting families of drug
users in Didcot, the FAD support group is being adopted by SMART Families and Carers Service.
SMART provides a range of Drug and Alcohol services across Oxfordshire. It’s Families and Carers Service offers small group sessions where relatives and carers of people with
drug or alcohol problems can get advice and information on how to understand and best support their loved one through recovery. SMART support groups are open to any adult
(18yrs +) who is affected by the drug or alcohol misuse
of a loved one.
The Didcot support group will continue to meet monthly on the first Tuesday of every month in the Community Hall behind Didcot Baptist Church.
